Deane-Porter
Deane Porter's class parties are usually determined by the teacher except for Halloween (all Halloween parties are directly following the parade)
Forrestdale
Forrestdale's class parties follow a different structure.
Grades 4 & 5

Grade 7 & 8
Class party rules and plans are decided by the principals, Erin and Meg will relay the finalized plans from Dr. O’Connell and Mrs. Gibbons in advance.
Class Parents should contact the teacher at least two weeks before the party.
Parties usually consist of an allergy-friendly snack and 1-2 activities. Some teachers prefer to choose the activities, so follow their lead.
Class dues cover party costs, but ask families to contribute materials via Sign Up Genius to help offset expenses.
No food or treat bags are allowed unless explicitly approved by the principal.
Books and pencils make great alternatives to goodies.
Try to reduce plastic items (e.g., toys, fidget spinners).

In-person parties are typically Halloween, Holiday and End-of-Year.
CPs help organize parties for Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day but do not attend.
